With hurricanes and other construction delays, the Gulf Coast has had a severe shortage of event halls and reception locations. We lost well over 1/3 of locations available in 2003. Those still operating have almost all raised their fees. Some has high as doubling from previous years.

We've heard good news recently of several new reception halls, reopening's and more.
